Youtube’s latest release of an online video editor should help streamline the process of producing and uploading videos. I know for myself many times I simply needed to trim the beginning and ending of a video recording before uploading. The new web-based editor allows you to do that but, at the moment, it doesn’t do much else.
With the editor you can also make quick mashups of your previously uploaded content and add soundtracks from the AudioSwap library.
Think of how nice it would be if the editor allowed you to mashup other users videos as well, as long as the content was uncopyrighted or used a creative commons license. There would be an explosion of new mashups and the flames of the remix culture would burn that much brighter.
